Dobson A-Frame Hut Painting

Thursday 7 February

Here are the report and comments from Trevor Norris from Mount Field

On February 7  through a Wildcare Grant via the Friends Of Mt Field, PWS organised for the painting of the public shelter at Lake Dobson carpark, Mt Field Nat. Park.

Five Wildcare volunteers participated.  Due to new legislation any work from ladders was restricted, however two coats of paint were painted on the lower walls of the building.   The grant paid for the purchase of paint, rollers, brushes and the hire of a cherry picker to paint the higher walls.  The cherry picker is being hired for this coming weekend, so we hope to see this building completed by this Sunday.  My thanks go to the volunteers for their energy and dedicated skill in helping to get this task completed.
